Abstract

Work discipline is one of the keys to the success of a company in achieving its goals. Employees who carry out good work discipline will affect their level of achievement. Qualified employees are seen from the work achievement they have achieved. Thus, work discipline is very necessary to support a company in achieving its goals effectively and efficiently. The purpose of writing this final assignment is to find out the application of employee work discipline at PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) Pabrik Medan. In writing this final assignment using three methods of data collection, namely observation, interviews and documents. Data types and sources are primary sources and secondary sources. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the analysis and evaluation of the data carried out it can be concluded that PT Barata Indonesia (Persero) Pabrik Medan is already good at implementing work discipline that can be seen through working hours, work clothes and how employees behave at work and things that are prohibited from employees during work. In addition, employees who violate the rules will be subjected to verbal sanctions, warning letters, suspension, and termination of employment and employees who excel will be given an award.
