Abstract

Today’s technology is still developing and creating innovations and the latest works, one of which is about microcontrollers, namely the Arduino which is very widely used at this time, apart from being cheap, this tool is also easy to program. On this occasion, we made an Arduino based smart bell wich is equipped with a light indicator and a buzzer sound which is controlled using a relay module. In addition, it use am LM2596 stepdown and a 12 V adapter as a power source. Tests show that the quiz bell can be used effectively as a teaching tool in schools to increase students motivation and participation in learning, besides that it can also be used in various competition activities to make competitions more interesting and sophisticated.
