Livestock such as chickens certainly need food intake in the form of feed that serves as a source of energy for growth and survival. There are two types of chicken feed, namely natural feed and artificial feed. Whole feed is food that comes from nature in a live form and is difficult to grow. Artificial feed is made from several processed ingredients that meet the nutritional needs of chickens. One of the artificial chicken feed that is commonly used and widely found is corn porridge. Currently, chicks are still fed manually and are still constrained by inefficient use of time. Therefore, an Internet of Things based chicken feeding tool was developed to enable chicken farmers to feed chickens efficiently. The Internet of Things-based chicken porridge feeding device, the Arduino Uno, supported by the Sim800L module can function as a controller with the Blynk application to execute programmed commands and the DHT-11 Sensor to control the temperature and humidity in the cage. Based on the research conducted, the results show that the tool will work when it receives a number command message that is planted on the Sim800l module, and drives a DC motor to rotate the chicken feeder for 10 seconds. The Sim800l module will stop after the DC motor-driven chicken feeder stops.
